Op de foto zie je een gekleurd doosje met ruitjes erop. Er staat ook een tekst op met 'Fudge uit Woerden'.

How lovely that you scanned me!

Here you can discover all about real Woerden Fudge: where it comes from, what makes it so special, and what a kristaljon has to do with it.

 WOERDENSE FUDGE

All fudge of Buro Fudge is made in Woerden. But this fudge is Woerdens Eigen.

All Buro Fudge is made in Woerden. By hand and with love.

But one particular fudge has an even stronger connection to the town. Our Woerdense Fudge.

It has officially been recognised as ‘Woerdens Eigen’ ( literally, “Woerden’s own” ), a local recognition for products and initiatives rooted in the history, traditions and character of Woerden.

Keeping a taste of Woerden alive

Kristaljons are only baked around the time of Koeiemart. And we think that’s a shame.

Many people are familiar with other Koeiemart treats, such as pea soup, poffertjes and oliebollen. But the kristaljon is a lesser-known local tradition and one that deserves to be remembered.

With our Woerdense Fudge, we want to keep this special flavour and little piece of Woerden’s history alive.

So you can enjoy a taste of Woerden all year round.

 And your box?

The box you’re holding may contain other Buro Fudge flavours too. Those are also made right here in Woerden.

But if you come across the Woerdense Fudge, you’ll now know why this particular one is a little different.

All fudge of Buro Fudge is made in Woerden. But this fudge is Woerdens Eigen.
